Selfless Portriat{s}

portraits are interesting because one usually tries to pick the one you look the best in. Here I have selected 4 images of my current self (yeah current, because i have noticed that i am changing as every day smooths along the rugged path). All of which are heavily shaded and have a thick blanket of darkness surrounding my environment. Im not particularly interested that you know what I look like.Im satisfied with you knowing what i look like in the dark.
Safe Places

This model used her eyes to express the loneliness of waiting for the unexpected. Griping onto her clothes she resembles the anxiety of some believers who face the sobering experience of losing it all and feeling as if God has forsaken them in their troubles and tribulations. Yet sometimes we forget that he always provides a 'couch' for us to lay on...
Elvin wanderer
Experimental image production is a fun way to uncover the unseen. this image was shot in daylight. I am not sure what back ground I manipulated for this one. Probably a curtain or some other place where I found a high level of contrast of white's and blue's. The title for this one comes from the right corner of the image where the triangular shaped white light forms an elongated shoulder pad and flows into what I like to see as long bangs. Can you see the elvin man??

Storms Among the Path
This image was taken while on the road to my new home away from Miami, Fl. The road is visible and the hovering storm is also obvious. The trees form a barrier that symbolizes the burdens from which I am fleeing. The storm is a sign of the road ahead. In the distance hope crowns the horizon with the promise from JHVH that my storms will pass and this new path welcomes me with radiant positivity.
